Meeting Place & Times
1st and 3rd Tuesday in the month at 7.30pm.
Blyth valley Mag is made up of bikers from not only Blyth but all over the North East of England, Tyneside and Northumberland. We also have a large variation in ages and biking experiences.
Our aim is to keep up the fight for bikers rights and safety through campaigns both nationally and locally. Currently we have a monitoring campaign for dangerous man hole covers and also the use of bus lanes in Newcastle City centre, which if successful we hope to spread across the county.
Events play a large part in our yearly itinerary. At Easter time we have our annual Easter egg run, which usually consists of between 400 to 600 bikes riding a 50 to 60 mile round trip around Northumberland visiting pubs along the way. Followed by a van which collects eggs from not only riders but various locations along the route.
We also get involved with other groups rides from the twisted sprockets pink ride to the Harley owners ride outs. Our group think that it’s important to converse with other groups and enjoy not only the experience but the comradeship that comes with the biking community.
Our group has a vast array of knowledge and experience, which, like other bike groups helps us support each other.
